Wow! I can't believe I haven't blogged since I first signed up in September. It's a new year, with new beginnings, new goals/desires, and a fresh start.
I entered 2009 with the loves of my life, family and Ryan. Although, I missed hugging and kissing the most amazing brothers I could ever ask for who are currently serving two-year misssions in Vegas and Indianapolis.
I expect 2009 to be a very busy, successful, determining year for myself and my wonderful family. In less than two-months, my brother Sione F. Vaitai will be returning home with honor and we're excited to welcome him home as a new and strong young man.
Work is going great and pretty much every other aspect of my life at the moment. I could ask for more money in my life, but money doesn't always buy happiness and therefore I won't ask.
When I reflect on 2008, there were many things I didn't expect to happen, but this life isn't about the power I hold or the plan I set forth. When it all boils down, it's the Lord's plan. He took a man who taught me so much about family and life. A man who lived a great life by example a husband, father, grandfather and brother. Samiuela Moungaloa, you were a great man and I was fortunate to have you in my life and to know you during this life time. I'm glad that you no longer fill pain or anguish and although we all miss you dearly, you're exactly where you're suppose to be.
Haisini Vaitai, thank you for everything that you've done for all who knew you. Thank you for being a mother, grandmother, sister, and wife to our late grandfather. Grandma, you were one who will never be forgotten from the lives of all your grandchildren. I pray that as you watch over us from heaven, that you'll guide us to the things the Lord would desire of us. Thank you for blessing our lives with the gospel and thank you for your everlasting love.
As I prepare for 2009, I pray for the strength to stick to my goals, to love unwillingly, to forgive always, to learn continuously and most importantly, to repent and pray regularly.
May 2009 be a year of success, happiness and joy for all who endure it....Happy New Year =)
